Young Aggies Find Success on Day Two of Bedford Cup – New Mexico State University Athletics – NMSU Aggies

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The men’s tennis program was back in action as they geared up for the second day of play at the ITA Bedford Cup in the Mountains.
 
In singles competition, senior Jordy Visser and sophomore Luca Fé D’Ostiani each tallied a win on Saturday. Visser found his success in the north semifinals of the Lightning Draw against Jan Lucca Marquardt of Boise State who he defeated 6-4, 3-6, 10-7.
 
Fé D’Ostiani was the lone Aggie to participate in multiple singles matches on the day as he redeemed himself with a win over Charlie Spina of Utah (6-2, 6-3) after falling in a tightly contested match against Alex Asenov of Idaho.
 
Meanwhile, Roko Stipetic and Corey Clarke joined forces to collect a win in doubles play as they bested Duron and Gay of Idaho by a score of 6-3.
 
UP NEXT
The Aggies will wrap up play at the Bedford Cup tomorrow morning. Play is set to begin at 9 a.m.
