Winona Gay Cook Aultman – Cleveland Daily Banner
Winona Gay Cook Aultman, 87, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Life Care Center of Cleveland.
She was born to the Rev. and Mrs. Roddie C. Cook on May 27, 1933, in Ennis, W.Va.
She was a lifelong member of North Cleveland Church of God where she was the organist and pianist for many years, as well as, accompanist for numerous special occasions.
A graduate of Lee College, she also taught piano lessons to many students as well as teaching elementary school in Polk County for several years.
She was preceded in death her husband of 67 years, Donald S. Aultman.
She is survived by two daughters: Melodie D. Aultman and Melissa Dunn, both of Calhoun, Ga.; three grandchildren: Landon S. Walker, Justin L. Morris and Tensley W. Holland, all of Georgia; seven great-grandchildren: Arin Walker, Layla Walker, Lidia Holland, Jack Holland, Connor Holland, Vallen Walker and Ellis Walker; three sisters: Nancy Gray, Rodena Maas and Rebecca Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be hosted by Companion Funeral Home.
