Where Have Jazz Players Traveled This Offseason? – KSL Sports

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz season ended earlier than its players would have hoped, but it seems they’re making the most of their offseason.

While the NBA season can be a significant grind, the league’s players know how to get away from it all during the summers.

Here’s a look at where Jazz players have gone in the offseason.

Gobert Heads To Guadalupe

After dying his hair green, Jazz center Rudy Gobert has made the most of his offseason.

Most recently, the All-Star big man shared photos of himself vacationing in Guadeloupe.

A tanned, buff Gobert shared photos of himself looking over the islands from a boat.

Guadeloupe is a collection of islands in the Caribbean and a popular tourist destination for the French people as the majority of the island speaks the language.

The islands have been under French control since the 17th century.

Royce O’Neale In The Big Apple

Royce O’Neale is spending time in New York City during his offseason.

The Jazz forward shared photos of him in Manhattan enjoying his time in The Big Apple.

“New York,” O’Neale captioned the Instagram post. “Live from the concrete jungle.”

Though he’s in New York, O’Neale seemed to be keeping a low profile. On Tuesday night the forward solicited streaming recommendations for a new TV show.

Donovan Mitchell On The East Coast

Donovan Mitchell also headed east during his offseason to spend time closer to home.

The New York native was spotted at a Mets game chatting to shortstop Francisco Lindor before an at-bat earlier this month.

The Jazz guard is a die-hard Mets fan and grew up around the team as his father, Donovan Mitchell Sr. works for the organization.

The Mets game wasn’t the only sporting event Mitchell has taken in this offseason. The All-Star guard was sitting courtside in Philadelphia for Game 3 of the 76ers playoff series against the Miami Heat.

Mitchell also tweeted about getting fired up while attending his sister’s lacrosse game.

“Went to my sisters lacrosse game today and I’m trying to hold my tongue from going off on everyone on the other team including the refs,” Mitchell tweeted.

Jordan Mitchell is a sophomore at American College where she plays on the lacrosse team.

Rudy Gay Heads To Memphis

Rudy Gay headed to Memphis earlier this month to catch up with Grizzlies legend Zach Randolph.

The Jazz forward shared a photo with Randolph at a restaurant in Memphis.

“Stay tuned,” Gay captioned the photo. “Me and @macbo50 have some stories to tell. Thank you @jonandvinnydelivery for having us.”

Gay just completed the first season of his three-year deal with the Jazz.
