SALT LAKE CITY – It’s the final weekend of the NFL’s regular season and four clubs with a Utah connection have secured playoff berths. Three more teams with former Utes still have a chance to reach the postseason, either in the hunt or on the bubble in Week 18. A total of 23 former Utes are on NFL rosters in Week 18 with 13 in the group set to see game action.
The Utah Football family also joins the sports world in continuing to keep Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, his teammates, family and friends in our thoughts.
Prayers for Damar ????

Mitch Wishnowsky and the San Francisco 49ers have locked up the NFC West, and the Kansas City Chiefs have secured the AFC West with Alex Whittingham on staff as defensive quality control coach. In addition, the Baltimore Ravens with Tyler Huntley and Marcus Williams are through to the playoffs, as are Britain Covey’s Eagles.
A big matchup awaits Devin Lloyd’s Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday as the squad hosts Tennessee with divisional implications on the line. Jacksonville (8-8) currently sits a game ahead of the Titans in the AFC South. The Seattle Seahawks, led in part by former Utah linebacker Cody Barton, would make the playoffs if the season ended today, and the Miami Dolphins with safety Eric Rowe still have a shot at the postseason.
