Uneta Gay Robinson | News, Sports, Jobs – The Inter-Mountain

Uneta Gay Robinson, 78, a resident of Beverly, passed away Sunday morning, July 17, 2022, in the Davis Medical Center.

She was born June 8, 1944, at High Germany, Randolph County, a daughter of the late Perry Lanham and the late Junella Scott Lanham.

On Jan. 7, 1964, at Mill Creek, West Virginia, she was married to Noah Francis “Tink” Robinson, who preceded her in death July 22, 2001.

Surviving are two sons, Douglas Eugene Robinson and wife, Nicka, and Roger Allen Robinson and wife, Belinda.

Also surviving are five brothers, Delmar Lanham and wife, Nancy, Hertzel Lanham and wife, Martha, Robert Lanham and wife, Shirley Ann, Zendall Lanham and wife, Sherry, and Kelmar Lanham and wife, Marsha; three sisters, Kathleen Harris and husband, Willard, Leasa Scott and husband, Brian, and Wilda Zirkle and husband, Delbert.

Two grandchildren, Brandon Michael Robinson, Morgantown, West Virginia, and Kasondra Renea Robinson of Beverly, West Virginia, also survive.

Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Wyoneta Bodkins and Wenda “Marie” Taylor.

Uneta attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center prior to her retirement.

She attended the First Christian Church of Elkins. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, the Pittsburgh Pirates and WVU Basketball, Wednesday evening dinners with family and she loved her grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kent Price officiating.

Interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery near Huttonsville, West Virginia.

The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Uneta Gay Robinson.
