Club Cindy and Ruby Road will offer a fantastic view of every sequin, every dancer, and every float – it’s the perfect way to experience the Mardi Gras Parade, heading back to Oxford Street for the first time since 2020.

These two new areas have been added ahead of they Sydney WorldPride full programme reveal, featuring more than 300 events.

Located in a pampered party pocket of Flinders Street, Club Cindy is named after Sydney icon, Cindy Pastel. The area is filled with all the things audiences will need to make their 2023 Parade experience their best yet.

Meanwhile, pack a picnic run and head down to Ruby Road – it’s an all-ages zone pairing uninterrupted views of the Parade with access to food trucks, bars, entertainment and live screen relays throughout the park. It’s located at the Moore Park end of the Parade route, commonly referred to as Checkpoint Dorothy.

“The Sydney Cricket Ground was a fantastic temporary home and feedback from audiences was that they loved the access to amenities that it offered,” Mardi Gras CEO Albert Kruger says. “Now that the Parade is returning to Oxford Street it was important to us that we provide options for spectators.”

“If you want to escape the crowds, Club Cindy and Ruby Road are the perfect option for you to celebrate WorldPride, our 45th anniversary and the return to our spiritual home of Oxford Street.”

Tickets for Club Cindy and Ruby Road go on sale 9 November.

The Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras 2023 Parade takes place on 25 February.
