TLBR Hall of Fame ceremony, golf fundraiser Monday at Golf Club at Summerbrooke – Tallahassee Democrat

Tallahassee-Leon Babe Ruth Baseball hosts the 14U Southeast Regional at Chiles High.

The Tallahassee-Leon Babe Ruth Alumni Foundation will hold its annual golf tournament and Hall of Fame banquet Monday at the Golf Club at Summerbrooke. 

The event will honor the inductees of the 2022 Hall of Fame class – Mike Harrison, Brandon Reichert, and Anthony Robinson – and raise money for scholarships and other Foundation causes. 

A few openings remain for the four-person golf scramble/banquet ($100 per person) and banquet-only tickets ($20) are available for purchase. 

Check-in for golf opens at 11 a.m. with the tourney starting at 1 pm.

The awards ceremony and induction dinner are at 6 p.m.

Harrison is one of the organization’s most successful coaches with multiple World Series appearances.

Reichert (Godby High/Florida State) and Robinson (FAMU DRS/Florida A&M), currently the athletics director at Florida High, went onto star at the high school and collegiate levels.

Tallahassee-Leon County Babe Ruth Baseball is a non-profit organization which administers and promotes advanced play baseball for players 13-15 years-old in Leon County.

The organization has been in Tallahassee for nearly seven decades, producing Major League players – and TLBR Hall of Famers – David Ross, Dean Palmer, Reggie Jefferson, John Wasdin and others.
