Are you ready for the biggest LGBTQIA+ party in the world? Well, parties plural if we’re being pedantic. Sorted outfits? Ironed out last year’s creases from your rainbow flags? Gone through Kylie’s back catalogue? Then gone through it again? (She’s headlining the opening party. Kelly Rowland’s doing the honours at the Domain Dance Party. Charli XCX, Muna, Peaches and Courtney Act are also getting in on the, er, act.) Tried on all the right Speedos? Then tried them on again?

And, exactly 100 days from the fun (plural!) kicking off, the full program for Sydney WorldPride has been announced, and there are over 300 (count ‘em!) events, including what’s pretty much guaranteed to be the biggest LGBTQIA+ beach party, ever, in the southern hemisphere – any hemisphere! – on Bondi Beach. To mark the occasion, a rainbow sand sculpture has been built on said Bondi Beach, with Minister for Tourism, the Honourable Ben Franklin, Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore and the CEOs of Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras and Sydney WorldPride, Albert Kruger and Kate Wickett (names, names, names!) there to mark the occasion.
