Suspect sought in NYC anti-gay subway attack – New York Post
A man was slugged in the face during an alleged anti-gay attack on the subway in Brooklyn last week.
A 23-year old male was on a northbound J train at the Broadway Junction station around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26 when he was approached by a man who called him “anti-gay slurs” before punching the victim in the head multiple times, police said.
The victims received bruising to his lip and refused medical attention. The suspect remained on the train and fled in an unknown direction.
The incident is being investigated by the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force, police said, who are seeking help identifying the suspect.
