Someone Turned Fergie’s Cringey National Anthem Rendition Into A Children’s Book—And It’s Everything – Comic Sands
Back in 2018, Fergie sang a cringey version of the U.S. National Anthem at the top of the NBA All-Star Game.
Her rendition of The Star Spangled Banner was meant to elicit inspiration and cheers but instead sparked laughter from the crowd and players. Draymond Green and Steph Curry were seen on camera snickering. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Chance the Rapper and Jimmy Kimmel were seen cracking a smile as well.
Later, The Warriors basketball team tweeted a remix of that performance by music producer and DJ Keenan Webb, AKA DJ Suede the Remix God. The team shared their dance to the song only a few days after Fergie’s ex-husband, Josh Duhamel, said Draymond Green was “kind of a prick” for laughing at her.
Now, TikToker Rob Anderson has created a children’s book to go along with Fergie’s rendition of the anthem.
The book is titled The Fergamerican National Anthem.
Anderson, known for his TikTok series Gay Anthropology and Gay Science, made this “civic story” available for purchase.
NBA star Steph Curry found it to be quite worthwhile.
Other Twitter users are chiming in on just how hilarious this book is.
Anderson also made shirts available with “Gay Prue” from the Great British Baking Show.
