Ice Hockey: Taunton vs. Somerset Berkley
Score: Somerset Berkley 4, Taunton 1

Record: Taunton, 3-1
Highlights: The Tigers dropped their first game of the season, falling to Somerset Berkley at home. Connor McGrath netted the lone goal for Taunton in the second period.
Next up: The Tigers travels to Middleboro on Wednesday.
Boys Swimming: Taunton at Brockton
Score: Brockton 73, Taunton 60
Location: Brockton
Date: Dec. 22
Record: Taunton, 1-1
Highlights: The Tigers lost to non-league opponent Brockton despite some top finishes. The 200 medley relay team of Keenan Daley, Gerald Grealish, Jared Sardinha and Joshua Florindo finished in first place for Taunton. Grealish was also a double winner in the 200 IM and in the 100 butterfly. Daley placed first in the 100 backstroke and second in the 200 free. Florindo took second in the 50 free and second in the 100 breaststroke. The 400 free relay team of Sardinha, Florindo, Blake Couto and Daley finished in first place.
Next Up: The Tigers face Franklin on Jan. 9 at Milford High School.
Girls Swimming: Taunton at Brockton
Score: Taunton 97, Brockton 51

Record: Taunton, 2-0
Highlights: The Tigers girls swim team defeated non-league opponent Brockton. The 200 medley relay team of Rachel Maynard, Lilia Ballantine, Eliana Gay and Emma Bradley finished in first place. Abigail Fernandes was a double winner in the 200 free and in the 100 breaststroke. Tiffany Ye was a double winner in the 200 IM and in the 100 free with an MIAA South Sectional qualifying time. Megan Viveiros was a double winner in the 50 free and in the 500 free. Mila Dafov took first in the 100 fly and second in the 100 backstroke. Bradley came in first in the 100 backstroke and second in the 50 free. Gay finished 2nd in the 200 IM and 2nd in the 100 breaststroke. Maynard finished 2nd in the 100 fly and 2nd in the 500 free. The 200 free relay team of Ye, Viveiros, Dafov and Fernandes took first while the 400 free relay team of Fernandes, Gay, Dafov and Ye placed first.
Next up: The Tigers face Franklin on Jan. 9 at Milford High School.
