NOTABLE

In the first meeting this season between the teams, the Spurs shot a season-best 56 percent (47 of 83), including 48 percent (12 of 25) from 3-point range, in a 109-99 win last month in Detroit. The Spurs, who have won five in a row over the Pistons at the AT&T Center, are 8-0 this season when shooting 50 percent or better from the field.

Bey holds the NBA rookie record for most games with six or more 3-pointers with five. In the Pistons’ 109-105 win over Cleveland on Monday, the former Villanova standout eclipsed his own franchise record for 3-pointers made in a quarter by a rookie with six in the first. That’s one shy of the all-time NBA mark for a rookie set by Coby White of Chicago last season.

The Spurs’ bench entered Wednesday’s game against Miami ranked sixth in the NBA in points (38.1), fourth in made 3-pointers (5.5) and seventh in 3-point percentage (.377)
