SALT LAKE CITY – Jazzmen Rudy Gay and Rudy Gobert connected for an assist and dunk during Utah’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Jazz hosted the Pelicans at Vivint Arena on Friday, November 26.

With 2:37 remaining in the opening quarter, Gay dished the ball off to a rolling Gobert. The Jazz center rose up and slammed the ball through the cylinder with two hands.

Gobert’s dunk gave the Jazz a 27-17 lead.

At the end of the first quarter, the Jazz owned a 28-23 advantage.

During the first 12 minutes of the game, Gobert had three points on 1-1 field goals. He added two rebounds and two blocks in seven minutes on the hardwood. Gay added two points and one assist in three minutes off the bench.
