RTE viewers call gay couple on First Dates Ireland ‘twins’ as they hit it off… – The Irish Sun
RTE viewers called two daters on First Dates Ireland ‘twins’ as they hit it off.
Giggly call center worker Dylan, 24, from Dublin rarely gets a second date.
But 6ft rugby playing Conor, 23, from Dublin was equally as smiley.
Dylan revealed he has never been to a gay bar and admitted it’s not his scene.
Conor confirmed that he was looking for someone just like that.
The pair hit it off and decided to see each other again at the end of the night.
However viewers at home and even the First Dates waiting staff noticed the physical similarities between the pair.
Shane said: “The two lads must think they’re looking in the mirror. The bulb off each other! #FirstDatesIRL.”
Anthony added: “Why are twin brothers on a date Man shrugging #FirstDatesIRL.”
Tara said: “The two guys on the date literally look the exact same I can’t tell them apart Smiling face with open mouth and cold sweat #FirstDatesIRL.”
James Kavanagh said: “The gay twins on #FirstDatesIRL are so cute I cannot cope.”
Having left the restaurant empty-handed two years ago, Peter, 54, from Clare returned with his heart on his sleeve.
He met health care worker Mags, 61, from Carlow. Mags revealed she used to be part of a biker club before she and her husband broke up.
She said: “I would be lonely. It’s hard to pick yourself up and start again.”
With ‘three degrees’ to his credit, IT consultant Joseph, 49, had dinner with Health and Safety officer Rachael, 49, from Dublin.
The pair agreed to see each other again.
Palm reading dentist Emily, 25, from Belfast assessed the future potential of graphic designer Mark, 28, from Dublin.
But Mark felt that there was a spark missing between him and Emily and he told of his plans to move to Australis. Emily admitted she had no interest in heading Down Under.
Last week RTE viewers were thrilled to see a trans man on First Dates as they praised his openness.
Harry, 28, from Belfast was paired with Muirenn, 24, from Cork, and fans told how it was “amazing” to see transgender representation on the show.
Harry opened up to Muirenn about struggles in his life, as he told her about being homeless while studying his A levels.
He spoke about the “small town mentality” in Ireland, saying: “I don’t see it as a big deal but a lot of people do.
