Writer and podcaster Roxane Gay is coming to Jackson Hole on Nov. 15 to be Teton County Library’s Page to the Podium speaker.
Her talk is scheduled for 7 p.m. that day at the Center for the Arts.
“Author Roxane Gay is considered by many to be the leading feminist voice of our time, and her work garners international acclaim for its honesty and accessibility,” the announcement said.
“Explore with Roxane topics ranging from politics, patriarchy, Beyonce and reality television in the same sitting. No two Roxane Gay events are the same. See for yourself and remember, it’s ‘Roxane’ with one N!”
Gay’s body of work includes an acclaimed memoir, “Hunger,” the novel “Ayiti,” essay collections including “Bad Feminist” and a graphic novel, “Black Panther World of Wakanda.” Her podcast is “Hear to Slay.”
The annual event is free to attend, but tickets are required. They will be available Oct. 28, at TinyURL.com/amrze4ja.
