SUPERIOR — On a beautiful last day of September, fans of the Superior Spartans lined parts of Hammond Avenue and North 28th Street to cheer for Spartans on all teams and clubs during the annual homecoming parade.

The parade, which lasted almost 45 minutes, featured many student activities, clubs and sports teams. Students who will one day be Spartans got in on the action, too, as kids from Northern Lights and Great Lakes elementary schools attended the parade.

After an assembly Friday morning at the high school, homecoming festivities came to close when the Spartan football team hosted Eau Claire Memorial at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.
