An Oshawa family have something else to discuss at the dinner table – what to do with their winnings.
Ernest and Dawna Gay, along with their son Corey, won more than $124,000 on a recent Pools card.
The trio play the sports betting game every Sunday. They picked up their ticket at One Stop Trading on Park Road in Oshawa.
“I had a good feeling about this ticket,” said Ernest.
“I scanned the ticket on the OLG app and woke up Ernest and said we won a lot,” said Dawna.
“It’s a very exciting moment,” she added.
They plan to treat themselves with a celebratory dinner.
