Ohio State women’s basketball is heading to Louisville.
The Big Ten Conference announced Monday that the Buckeyes will travel to Kentucky to face the Cardinals Nov. 30 as a part of the ACC/Big TenChallenge.
In 2021-22, Ohio State lost its first game of the season in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, losing 97-91 on the road against Syracuse despite 20-point performances by Taylor Mikesell and Jacy Sheldon.
Ohio State ended its 2021-22 season in the Sweet 16 with a loss to Texas.
In its history, Ohio State has won four of its 14 matchups in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, last earning a victory against Louisville in 2019: the team’s 13th win against a top-five team in its history and its first win against the Cardinals.

Louisville is the first non-conference game scheduled for the Buckeyes in 2022-23. Ohio State is set to take on Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota and Northwestern both home and away next season, along with matchups against Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State and Purdue at home, and Nebraska, Penn State Rutgers and Wisconsin on the road.
The 2022-23 non-conference schedule and dates for the Big Ten schedule will be announced at a later date.
