Neil Patrick Harris Shows Off Lean Physique on Set of ‘Uncoupled’ – Men’s Health

From his time on Broadway to his longstanding TV roles, Neil Patrick Harris has always been known for his trim physique, and that doesn’t look like it’s going to change any time soon. In a recent Instagram post plugging the latest issue of his ‘Wondercade’ newsletter, the actor—who turned 49 last month—showed off the results of his fitness regimen with a shirtless mirror selfie from his new comedy series Uncoupled, which begins streaming on Netflix on July 29.

“This photo was taken on the set,” he wrote. “I did a few pushups.”

This isn’t the first look that Harris has given his followers at his abs. While vacationing with his family in Croatia last year, he posted his “#summerbody” to social media, and has also shared insights on how he stays fit via workouts with his Tonal machine, a pricey piece of AI-powered equipment which enables the user to lift digital “weights” and track metrics like range of motion and time under tension.

Uncoupled was created by Darren Star (Sex and the City, Emily in Paris) and Jeffrey Richman (Modern Family). In the show, Harris plays Michael, a man whose 17-year relationship comes to an end in the first episode, and who finds himself back on the gay dating scene in his mid-40s. Which does provide some valuable context for that shirtless selfie: thirst traps are a currency of their own on dating apps, even if new research indicates they might not be as popular as everyone seems to think.
