Multiple student services, departments relocating on campus this … – Purdue University

In support of the Schleman Hall of Student Services renovation, all current occupants of the building and a selection of other departments are being relocated to different facilities.

In a project managed by Purdue Administrative Operations, the existing Schleman Hall of Student Services will be completely renovated and transformed into the home of the growing Data Science program. Later this month, the building will become known as the Data Sciences facility, and the Schleman name will transfer to the Recitation Building, the new location for the Dean of Students office, in support of these programmatic changes.

This project also included renovations to 45,000 gross square feet across three floors in Stewart Center, creating the Klipsch Student Success Crossroads, a destination for student services. This space will serve as the new hub for Admissions, Bursar, Financial Aid and Registrar functions, while expanding the Purdue Testing Center and updating student organization spaces.

Remaining departments are intermittently moving from Schleman Hall of Student Services to their new locations through Dec. 19.

  • Admissions (student-facing): Stewart Center, main floor, Suite 120
  • Bursar (student-facing): Stewart Center, main floor, Room 194
  • Dean of Students: Recitation Building, 2nd floor (Note: Building will be renamed as Helen B. Schleman Hall as of Dec. 19)
  • Financial Aid (non-student-facing): Young Hall, 7th floor

  • University Receivables and Collections Office (student-facing): Stewart Center, main floor, Room 194
  • Vice Provost for Student Life: Wang Hall, 4th floor, suite 4500

During this same period, the Registrar’s Office (student-facing) will move out of Hovde Hall of Administration and to Stewart Center room 176 on the main floor.

For any of the departments listed above, individuals should contact the associated office to determine how to best obtain services during the moves.

A number of departments have already moved to the following locations from Schleman Hall of Student Services and Hovde Hall of Administration as part of this project:

  • Admissions (non-student-facing): 2550 Northwestern Ave. building, suite 1900
