Modern Family and The Flash stars’ gay rom-com out on Prime Video – Digital Spy
Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland and The Flash star Keiynan Lonsdale’s LGBTQ+ romantic comedy My Fake Boyfriend is now out on Prime Video in the UK.
In the film, Lonsdale’s character, Andrew, follows the advice of his meddling friends (Dylan Sprouse and Hyland) and creates a fake boyfriend on social media to keep his jealous ex at bay and help him move on with his life.
However, things become complicated when he meets the love of his life, and getting rid of his fake boyfriend proves difficult.

The official synopsis reads: “As Cristiano (the fake boyfriend) goes viral and becomes a worldwide sensation, Andrew meets his real-life dream guy, Rafi, a charming restaurant owner.
“Now, Andrew must find a way to put an end to the fake fling, evade his jealous ex, and win Rafi’s heart in this fun and hilarious comedy about the crazy things we do for love.”
Shameless and Black Lightning’s Rose Troche is the director, while the rom-com was penned from a script written by Luke Albright, Joe Wanjai Ross, and Greg Boaldin.

My Fake Boyfriend is available to stream on Prime Video in the UK. It will premiere in the US.
