Meet the Handsome Finalists of the Mr. Gay Europe 2022 Pageant – Out Magazine

Founded in 2005, the Mr. Gay Europe pageant is back in 2022 and has featured tough competition between handsome men from all over the continent.

The pageant took a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which means that the last Mr. Gay Europe was crowned in 2019. Host nations have taken place in Norway, Netherlands, Hungary, Romania, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Sweden, Poland, and Germany. This year, the Mr. Gay Europe 2022 pageant took place at a venue in Alnwick, England.

Past winners have included contestants from countries like the Netherlands, Hungary, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Sweden, Belgium, England, and Bulgaria. In 2019, Alexander Petrov from Bulgaria was crowned Mr. Gay Europe.

The starting delegates competing for the title of Mr. Gay Europe 2022 included Andrea Pelone (Italy), Dennis Zahnen (Ukraine), Joren Houtevels (Belgium), Kevin Drábek (Czech Republic), Max Appenroth (Germany), Nicolay Berge (Norway), and Paul Dennison (England). The competition was then narrowed down to four finalists: Pelone, Zahnen, Drabek, and Dennison, with Dennison ending up with the crown!
