Meet ‘Drag Race Down Under’s Hunky (and Talented) Pit Crew – Out Magazine

There are a few constants in the world of RuPaul’s Drag Race: there’s obviously drag, there’s mini and maxi challenges, the Werk Room, and the supposed himbos we’ve come to know as the Pit Crew — well they are the Brit Crew in the U.K. We’ve seen this set up not only across iterations of the show — that’s the U.S., Thailand, Holland, U.K., and Canada — but also other permutations like the live Vegas Revue. The latest race, down in Down Under, is no different.

Though things might be a bit smaller given that this is the first season and was filmed in a pandemic, Down Under brings its own Pit Crew. But much like we’ve found in the U.S., though they may be presented on screen as hunky jocks who only have their bodies to bring to the table — does anyone else remember that time where there was a mini-challenge called “Are You Smarter Than a Pit Crew Member” when one of the Pit Crew members in question had studied to be a literal rocket scientist — they have amazing lives (and brains of their own.
