With so many streaming services, there’s an unending amount of content to consume. And when you do, there’s often not enough time to get to know the people behind it all outside of a few marquee names (hello Ryan Murphy and Greg Berlanti.) Well, if you haven’t been introduced already, meet Beau DeMayo.

About a month ago, DeMayo’s name started ringing major bells publicly as rumors swirled that he had been tapped to rewrite Marvel Studio’s upcoming Blade film starring Mahershala Ali. Anticipation is high for the project, and according to sources, things weren’t going well. DeMayo was brought in as a savior. And while that’s quite the bet, it’s a result of the showrunner and writer putting in the work over the years (between sexy posts on Instagram).
