Man throws punches at Nashville gay bar, injures staff who tries to stop him — Walter ‘Bryce’ Harrill – Scoop: Nashville
Metro Nashville Police say 22-year-old Walter Bryce Harrill got into an argument with another patron at Play Dance Bar on Church Street, and when security attempted to break up the altercation, he punched the employee in the face, leaving an injury and breaking his $655 prescription eyeglasses. Harrill was detained until police arrived, and was heavily intoxicated. He is charged with public intoxication, vandalism, and assault Harrill is free on pre-trial release.

| I respond to 1519 church street for a disorderly person and fight. Upon arrival, I spoke to the Victim he stated that the defendant came to the bar known as Play on his own and entered the establishment then started a physical altercation with a customer.
When the victim, a worker at the location, attempted to break up the altercation, the defendant punched him in the face with a closed fist causing a minor cut under his left eye and breaking his prescription glasses valued at $655. The Victim and other security at the location detained the defendant until officers arrived. While questioning the defendant he was unable to stand on his own, he had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol on his person. Due to the likelihood offenses will continue the suspect was taken into custody without incident. |
