Man arrested for running gay-sex racket – Daily Pioneer

A man was arrested after his wife lodged a complaint against him with the Soro police in Baleswar district that he was running a gay-sex racket when he was staying in Gujarat.

The accused is Chiranjit Khilar, a resident of Mulising under the Soro police limits, who had married the complainant, a resident of Khaira, in 2019.

The woman in her complaint stated that two months after their marriage, she was surprised to know that her husband was a gay and was running a gay sex racket. She tried her best to refrain him from such immoral and illegal activities but to no avail. And instead, he forced her to be a part of the sex racket, saying that it was a means to earn easy and hefty bucks.

“He married me by cheating as he and his family members said he was an engineer at a private company in Surat. But he was subsequently found to be working as a mechanic. Running a sex racket, he dressed up like a woman to get customers. He was also keeping physical relationships with both males and females,” she alleged in her complaint.

She further alleged that she was even harassed by her in-laws when she protested her husband’s immoral activities and they beat her up and even tried to kill her.

Acting on the complaint, police after investigation arrested Chiranjit and forwarded him to court.
