She recently spoke to Gay Times about her “tough experience” since Jesy Nelson’s sensational departure from Little Mix and revealed that the remaining band member sought out therapy following the news.
She said: “I think for anyone, when such a big change happens in your life, and you’ve been so used to a certain situation for so long, it’s really hard.
“Getting through that and moving forward. I think for us as well, we were still promoting the album at the time and doing TV shows.
“We were just cracking on as it were, and I think we were in a bit of shock for a long time because we just had to keep going.
“It wasn’t until we had some time off at Christmas that it suddenly dawned on us what had happened.”
She confessed that it was then that the bandmates found the news “hard” and spoke to their own therapists.
“We’re really stronger than ever,” she continued. “I would say that this year with the girls having their kids, it just puts everything into perspective of what’s important in life.”
Jade said that the remaining girls know they will have each other’s back “through anything”.

Elsewhere in the candid piece, the singer spoke about transphobia in the UK and admitted that the level of transphobia in the world currently is “alarming”.
She confessed to receiving a barrage of abuse on social media, but admitted it was an honour to appear in the publication’s Honours issue.
“It’s an honour to be part of the Honours Issue,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Allyship is fundamental, essential and eternal. Forever standing with and fighting for the LGBTQ+ community.”
