LeBron Probable, Anthony Davis Questionable Against Jazz – KSL Sports

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz might be facing a shorthanded Los Angeles Lakers team with both LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the injury report ahead of Friday’s game.

The Jazz are in Los Angeles for the second stop of their three-game road trip.

The Lakers meanwhile are riding a two-game winning streak after losing their first five games of the season.

Jazz Have Lost Three Straight On Road

The Jazz are looking to snap a three-game road losing streak that began in Houston last week, and carried over with losses to the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks.

Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets moved the Jazz to 2-3 on the road this season after beginning the year with wins in Minnesota and at New Orleans.

The Jazz are slowly getting healthier after several members of the roster dealt with illnesses over the last week. Leandro Bolmaro remains in the NBA’s health and safety protocol, while forward Simone Fontecchio is listed as questionable as he returns to competition conditioning.

Walker Kessler and Rudy Gay returned to the lineup against the Mavericks after missing three games with illnesses.

Kessler recorded only four minutes while Gay scored two points and grabbed five rebounds in 13 minutes.

The Jazz led the Mavericks by 15 midway through the third quarter but ultimately fell to the Mavericks 103-100.

LeBron, Davis On Injury Report Against Jazz

The Lakers have battled injuries throughout the early part of the season with several key rotation players missing games.

LeBron James is listed as probable for Friday night’s game against the Jazz with left knee soreness.

Anthony Davis is listed as questionable with lower back tightness.

Both Dennis Schroder and Thomas Bryant have yet to dress for the Lakers this season due to UCL injuries.

The Lakers were the last team to record a win this season after starting the year 5-0, but have back-to-back wins over the Nuggets and the Pelicans since moving guard Russell Westbrook to the bench.
