ASHTABULA — Larry Logan Jr., 62, formerly of Girard, passed away peacefully from complications of cancer, Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, at Ashtabula Medical Center.

Larry was born March 7, 1959, in Girard, a son to Larry and Katherine Holliday Logan Sr. He was a 1977 graduate of Girard High School. He was a member of the William Farr Masonic Lodge 672.

Larry enjoyed playing the drums, as he was the lead drummer for the professional band, “Just Us,” slot car racing, target shooting, billiards and riding motorcycles.

He was employed with the city of Girard at the wastewater treatment facility for more than 20 years.

Larry is survived by his younger brother, Craig (Stephen Gay) Logan of Columbus. Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
