Bird Pescina rushed 138 yards and two touchdowns to lead Thunderbird (5-1) over Bears (1-4) in the opening round of the South Sequoia League for both teams. .. Gamiez Helm won two TDs, one on the ground and one on Kennedy’s receive, finishing in a 353-yard rush. Julian Orosco threw a 35-yard scoring pass and rushed to touchdown.
