Junior Thomas Mitchell, 97, of Gay, WV, passed Jan. 5, 2023, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV.

Services were held Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, WV with Pastor Robert “Bob” Keen officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Roane County.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund at 128 Locust Ave. Spencer, WV 25276.
