Is he gay in real life?

In Sex Education, he plays Adam Groff, the headmaster’s son and high school bully who has a very tense relationship with his father.

At the beginning of Season 1, he is dating a girl called Aimee but begins realising that he is actually gay and fancies Eric, the flamboyant, gay character played by Ncuti Gatwa.

In Season 2, he continues exploring his sexuality and begins a secret relationship with Eric.

However, Connor is not actually gay in real life, he just plays a gay character. He has previously said that he isn’t afraid of getting naked on set, but was nervous about filming gay scenes.

However, he previously dated his brief on-screen girlfriend and co-star Aimee Lou Wood.

The pair met on the set of Sex Education in 2018, but broke up two years later in 2020.
