Audiences were finally welcomed back into the club earlier this year and P-Valley fans will no doubt find themselves curious about the cast, eager to peel back the backstage curtain.
Created by Katori Hall, the American drama series is an adaptation of Hall’s play Pussy Valley and viewers were introduced to the workers of a strip club in the Mississippi Delta back when the show premiered on Starz in 2020.

Is P-Valley’s Uncle Clifford actor gay in real life?
Yes, Nicco Annan is gay and the 33-year-old American actor is open about his sexuality.
His relationship status isn’t certain at the moment but, in the show, Uncle Clifford is in a relationship with Lil Murda (played by J. Alphonse Nicholson). They are not in a relationship in real life and J. Alphonse Nicholson is actually married to Nafeesha Nicholson; they have a child together.
As an openly gay actor, Nicco has previously opened up to media outlets about the importance of his work on P-Valley.
“As a Black man and as a Black gay man, it’s very seldom that I get the opportunity to tell such a rich, lush story that really means something and that I really feel speaks to my community and can uplift us,” he explained during a conversation with Essence.
Similarly, he told Vanity Fair: “Being a dark-skinned man, and a man that is gay, I wanted to embrace all of the things that people say are going to hold you back.”
Not only that, but he weighed in while speaking to Xtra Magazine that “Uncle Clifford was an opportunity, I felt, for people to be able to get to know Black people on the [LGBTQ] spectrum in a more intimate way.”

‘It feels like the beginning’
When speaking to Digital Spy about whether he’d return for season 3, Nicco said he “absolutely would.”
In regards to where we’re at now with the show he argued “it feels like the beginning, to be honest.” On the other hand, Starz is yet to announced whether the series has been renewed for season 3.
