San Antonio is (mostly satirically) rallying behind Patty Mills after a scuffle in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s Spurs game against the Indiana Pacers.

Fans took to Twitter after Patty Mills and Rudy Gay were both fined thousands of dollars for their roles in a physical altercation on the court after Indiana Pacers JaKarr Sampson headbutted Patty.

Talks of barbecue plate fundraising and donations swirled as fans sympathized with some of their favorite players. A GoFundMe page even popped up for the fan proclaimed “dumb fine.”
