HER Dating Review – Forbes Health – Forbes

HER is an inclusive dating app for people who identify as lesbian, bisexual, non-binary, pansexual or queer. It offers a  swiping feature, where you swipe right if you’re interested in someone and swipe left if you’re not, that’s seen on many dating apps, as well as extras like social media Communities and virtual events.

Key Features

  • Communities: As a HER user, you can join one of its 30+ social Communities. You’ll be able to chat with other users and share photos. Some examples of these Communities are “Good Vibes Only,” “Lesbian,” “Bisexual” and “40+ Community.”
  • Events: In addition to Communities, you’ll find virtual events, such as “Pansexual Speed Dating” and “Holiday Speed Dating.” To attend, you must purchase a ticket ($5 is the typical price) and use the video link sent to your email.
  • Rewind Profiles:  With Rewind Profiles, you’ll be able to look back at profiles you didn’t swipe right on initially. This may come in handy if you make a mistake while swiping or overlook someone.

HER is a dating app for those who identify as lesbian, bisexual, non-binary, pansexual or queer. Created by Robyn Exton, who was frustrated by her own experiences on lesbian dating sites, HER serves as a “safe and inclusive” place for queers to connect to like-minded people and find nearby events, according to the company.

HER is an inclusive platform specifically for those who identify as members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. This includes two-spirit (someone who identifies as having a masculine and feminine spirit), lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or questioning) individuals.
