Don’t Worry Darling premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2022 on Monday, September 5th, and lead actor Harry Styles stole the show after kissing his co-star, Nick Kroll. That has now brought back rumours that the singer is ‘gay’.
Olivia Wilde’s thriller has created a lot of buzz over the past few months. It is finally set to release in theatres across the world on September 23.
Don’t Worry Darling received much love and applause at the Venice screening, but fans can’t stop talking about the moment Harry locked lips with Nick.

Olivia and the lead cast of Don’t Worry Darling were present at the Venice Film Festival for the screening of the film.
Olivia and her movie’s leading lady, Florence Pugh, kept a distance amid feud rumours but were insanely happy on seeing the response the film received.
However, it was Harry, who plays Jack in the film, and Nick, who plays Bill, who seemed the happiest after Don’t Worry Darling received a standing ovation.
A video posted on Twitter by Variety’s co-editor-in-chief, Ramin Setoodeh, shows Harry excitedly kissing Nick. The 16-second clip shows actors Florence and Gemma Chan walking hand-in-hand as the crowd cheers and applauds the thriller.
The Love of My Life singer is seen making his way over to Nick and grabs his face in excitement before planting a kiss. The crowd is heard screaming in surprise as the two actors embrace each other.

Twitter users have had a lot to say about the kissing video went viral. The video has resurrected the ‘Harry Styles is gay’ rumours for the hundredth time on the Internet.
“Harry Styles will always have more chemistry kissing men. Look at the way he grabs their face. What is he? Gay?!” one Twitter user wrote.
“Harry Styles staring at Nick Kroll’s lips but refused to even stand beside Olivia. Harry, your gay is showing,” another said.
Another wrote: “Why is Harry Styles trying to have a gay-off with Bad Bunny.”
However, a few others had a more sensible response to the kissing video.
“Kissing a guy once doesn’t make you gay. Let’s not perpetuate that line of thought,” said one user.
“Until he says he is, he isn’t. You all just keep tripping for it and you make it so easy.” another user wrote.
HITC has reached out to Harry for comment about all the rumours. At the time of the publishment of this article, we’re yet to receive a response.
Don’t Worry Darling gets a five-minute standing ovation
The mystery thriller is Olivia’s second film as a director. The 38-year-old also directed 2019’s highly acclaimed Booksmart, which starred Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever in the lead.
The screening at the Venice Film Festival was attended by Olivia and the film’s lead cast. The director sat next to Chris Pine, who sat alongside Harry and Gemma.
The film’s leading lady, Florence, who plays Alice, sat next to Gemma.
The mystery thriller received a roaring five-minute long applause at the end, leaving the cast and their director absolutely smitten.
