GAY TIMES Honours 2022 presented by Meta Quest – the biggest LGBTQ+ night of the year – returns for a sixth year to celebrate the very best of community and culture.
Taking place at Magazine London on 25 November, the event will play host to a line-up of incredible performers, inspirational winners and VIP guests.
Swedish pop icon Tove Lo will be bringing tracks from her outstanding new album Dirt Femme to GAY TIMES Honours 2022 for an electrifying live set.
British breakout star of the year, Cat Burns, will also take to the stage with her guitar for a special set. It will include her massive single Go, as well as other singalong anthems.
RuPaul’s Drag Race royalty Gottmik and Violet Chachki will host this year’s ceremony, with some very special surprises in store on the night.
Glitterbox will be playing guests into the early hours with a storming DJ set from performer and Drag Race France judge Kiddy Smile.
There will be further performances from spoken word artist Kai-Isaiah Jamal, queer Bollywood club night Hungama, rising star Keanan, and club collectives Cocoa Butter Club and Sue Veneers.
GAY TIMES Honours 2022 will recognise LGBTQ+ people who have made a profound impact on community and culture over the past 12 months. This year we have been reflecting on the past 50 years since the very first Pride March took place in the UK. But for GAY TIMES Honours 2022, we are taking it 50 years into the future to imagine what queer community, culture and nightlife will be in the decades to come.
Our Future Queer 2072 will embrace the future of nightlife through special artist installations, roaming performer moments and our editorial and social content.
GAY TIMES Honours 2022 is proudly presented by Meta Quest, which fosters social connection by bringing people together to share in the everyday, extraordinary, innovative experiences through virtual reality and the metaverse.
GAY TIMES Honours 2022 presented by Meta Quest is supported by Hinge and SKITTLES®.
GAY TIMES recently partnered with Hinge for their NFAQ (Not So Frequently Asked Questions) campaign, which spotlights and offers dating and relationship advice to LGBTQ+ people using their platform. This will be reflected further as part of GAY TIMES Honours 2022.
SKITTLES® and GAY TIMES are currently offering bursaries to support the careers of young LGBTQ+ photographers in a bid to help build out queer archives for generations to come, partnering with Queer Britain and Getty Images for the innovative initiative.
To ensure GAY TIMES Honours 2022 is a free-to-attend event for the community, we’d like to further thank our category sponsors CUPRA, Coca-Cola, Jean Paul Gaultier, Getty Images and Heineken Silver.
As in previous years, GAY TIMES Honours 2022 will be open to the community via free tickets with a £10 donation to Amplifund.
Amplifund is GAY TIMES’ philanthropic initiative that supports LGBTQ+ organisations and communities across the globe.
The initiative has supported LGBTQ+ causes in Jamaica, Iraq and Armenia in recent years, helping empower local communities to continue the vital work they do.
