Gay influencer says GOP candidate dad threatened to kill him & his mom as abortion news breaks – LGBTQ Nation
Christian Walker, the gay influencer son of the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Georgia Herschel Walker, has disavowed his father following an explosive report claiming the former NFL player paid for a former girlfriend to have an abortion in 2009. Christian Walker claims his father threatened to kill him and his mother as he had multiple affairs.
According to The Daily Beast, a woman who asked to remain anonymous out of privacy concerns said that she had conceived a child with Herschel Walker while the two were dating in 2009. Walker was unmarried at the time, but they mutually agreed to terminate the pregnancy.
Herschel Walker, who supports a federal abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the mother, reimbursed the woman for the cost of the procedure. She kept the $575 receipt from the abortion clinic as well as a “Get well” card signed by Herschel Walker and a bank deposit receipt for a $700 check from Herschel Walker.
Herschel Walker responded to the story, calling it “a flat-out lie” and “the latest Democrat attack.”
After The Daily Beast published the report on Monday, Christian Walker, a self-styled “free-speech radicalist,” “anti-woke” social media influencer, and podcaster, lambasted his father on Twitter.
“Every family member of Herschel Walker asked him not to run for office, because we all knew (some of) his past. Every single one,” the 23-year-old wrote. “He decided to give us the middle finger and air out all of his dirty laundry in public, while simultaneously lying about it. I’m done.”

I’m done.

“I know my mom and I would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us,” he wrote in a subsequent tweet. “You’re not a ‘family man’ when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.”
“I don’t care about someone who has a bad past and takes accountability. But how DARE YOU LIE and act as though you’re some ‘moral, Christian, upright man.’ You’ve lived a life of DESTROYING other peoples lives. How dare you.”

Christian Walker made a name for himself on TikTok with his righteous outrage against deadbeat dads, while over the last few months news about his father’s extramarital affairs – and his resulting estranged children – made national headlines.
Christian Walker seemed supportive of his father until his tweets yesterday, and in a video posted to social media this morning he explained that the reason he was so bothered by deadbeat dads was his own relationship with his father as he called out Republicans telling him to stay silent until after the midterm elections.
“I stayed silent as the atrocities against my mother were downplayed,” he said. “I stayed silent when it came out that my father Herschel Walker had all these random kids across the country, none of whom he raised. And you know my favorite issue to talk about is father absence. Surprise! Because it affected me.”
I’ve stayed silent for nearly two years as my whole life has been lied about publicly. I did ONE campaign event, then said I didn’t want involvement.

The Daily Beast had previously reported that the Republican nominee, who is running against incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock, had two sons out of wedlock whom he had not publicly acknowledged. Walker has frequently spoken out against absentee fathers, particularly in the Black community. He also opposes same-sex marriage and recently told a crowd at a rally that transgender kids will not get into heaven.
Christian Walker has echoed his father’s rhetoric about absentee dads in social media posts. He has also acknowledged that he is attracted to men while asserting that he does not identify as gay and criticizing LGBTQ Pride. He had been informally advising his father’s campaign.
