Gay ‘Housewives’ star breaks up with girlfriend – Wonderwall
Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her girlfriend have reportedly split up.
Last December, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star came out as gay, despite still being married to husband Sean Burke. At the time, she revealed that she was dating a woman named Kris, whom she met on Tinder.
According to TMZ, the women split over a month ago after the relationship ran its course. The split was amicable.
Braunwyn, the first openly gay “Housewives” star, is seeing other women, but is not in a committed relationship. She’s “still finding her footing after coming out,” the webloid said.
Interestedly enough, the reality TV star has been adamant about remaining married to Sean, her husband of 20 years and father of their seven children. She has said that they sleep in separate bedrooms. Still, she said on Instagram that she would be “heartbroken” if Sean began dating someone else.
“We’ve been together since we were teenagers. I don’t know what life without him is like, and that scares me,” she said in an Instagram Q&A. “That scares me a lot.”
Vin Diesel‘s security team is apparently causing problems in the Dominican Republic.
The actor has been renting a home in a private gated community in the Dominican, and his next door neighbor said Vin’s 12 security guards are making life miserable for the residents.
On April 11, TMZ obtained a letter the neighbor sent to Vin in which he calls the security guards “abusive” and “absurd.”
“For a few weeks I have personally witnessed and heard from fellow homeowners the unprecedented and abusive display of your security people around our homes and beach,” the letter says. “Interrogating us, blocking our street with five or six SUV’s. Stopping residents while walking when you ride your bicycle.”
The neighbor, Diego Arria, detailed an alleged incident on Easter in which he claims guards blocked pedestrians and traffic so Vin and his kids could ride bikes. Vin actually posted a photo from the bike ride to Instagram.
“… We are used to [seeing] many celebrities like yourself but who have not imposed their own personal and arbitrary rules while violating the peaceful enjoyment of us, homeowners and our guests while we are here,” the neighbor wrote.
Diego adds that in 10 years of living in the home he has “never endured and suffered such absurd comportment by anyone renting a home in our very small, private and very secure community.”
A source close the “Fast & Furious” star said he never meant to “inconvenience” the community. In fact, the source said all of Vin’s security guards are locals, as he wanted to employ Dominicans to support the area.
Jennifer Lopez was missing one major accessory in a series of Instagram photos over the weekend: her engagement ring.
The fact that the bauble wasn’t on her hand didn’t go unnoticed, especially given reports that her romance with Alex Rodriguez is on shaky ground.
“Keep calm and work on the weekend,” she captioned the photos.
This isn’t the only time the pop star has been without her $1.8 million ring on Instagram. On April 1, her finger was noticeably naked, as well.
The status of J-Rod’s romance has been in question for a month. On March 12, several media outlets reported that the couple had split up and a few said the alleged break up wasn’t much of a surprise. However, the next day the couple denied that they had split.
“All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things,” they said in a statement.
In the ensuing days, A-Rod told a paparazzi crew that he is “not single.” He then flew to the Dominican Republic to join Jen, as she’s been in the Caribbean for months filming a movie. J.Lo, meanwhile, said the split reports were “dumb.”
“They never officially broke up and talked about it but are still together,” a source close to the pair told People last month. “They hit a rough patch. But were not broken up.”
Ashley Cain, a former soccer player who starred on “The Challenge,” revealed that his baby daughter has just “days to live” amid her fight with leukemia.
The MTV alum posted a series of heartbreaking images and videos to his social media on April 9 that showed his daughter, Azaylia.
“Azaylia’s last bath in hospital, before we take her home where she belongs,” he captioned several Instagram photos of the little one hooked up to tubes. “9 days ago consultants told us my daughter had 1-2 days to live, but thought she may pass that evening. Even with a barbaric disease consuming her blood, tumors in her brain and organs and amounts of pain I cannot imagine… She is still battling through 9 days later, with parts of the day with nothing but smiles despite her discomfort.”
Ashley, whom he shares with his partner, Safiyya Vorajee, marveled at the strength of the little girl.
“Even through the hardest and saddest time of my life, she has found a way to make it better, he wrote. “She has shined light on the darkest of days and she has opened my heart to amounts of love I couldn’t believe possible!”
Azaylia, he said, was his “hero.”
Last October, Azaylia was diagnosed with a “rare and aggressive” form of leukemia, Ashley said at the time. He’s often given updates about her condition on Instagram since then. In a 10-minute video posted on April 8, the former United Kingdom soccer star said of his daughter, “She’s one in a trillion, but unfortunately, so is her disease. We’re going back home, and we’re going to give, we’re going to try and make our baby as comfortable as possible. And we’re going to have as much fun as we can with her as possible.”
Safiyya also posted several gut-wrenching messages and shared videos of the couple taking their daughter home in an ambulance on April 9.
“With a heavy painful heart i share the saddest news of my life,” she wrote on Instagram this week. “After Azaylia’s CT and ultrasound scan we have been informed by consultants that they have found tumours in Azaylia’s brain, but also in her kidneys, liver, lungs and spleen. Consultants said there is no way to tackle the tumours on her brain because of the high pressure in her head. Her chemotherapy is also not reducing the disease in her blood anymore because it is that aggressive.”
“Today we also found out that Singapore has not been able to create a CART treatment to cure Azaylia because of the rarity and aggressiveness of her leukemia. This was our last, our only and our final option to save Azaylia and her disease was even too complex for them. So we will be now returning home with our beautiful baby to give her the best possible time left that we can,” she said. “I am so proud of my baby girl she has been fighting for so so long, and doesn’t deserve this to happen to her! there isn’t enough words out there to describe the heartache & pain I’m feeling but I’m incredibly honoured to have become a mummy to my precious girl.”
A couple set up a GoFundMe page to help with their mounting medical bills.
After years of intense fitness training, super-clean eating and occasional fasting, Mark Wahlberg can’t wait to dig into his next body goal — at Denny’s.
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last week, the actor, 49, revealed he needs to gain 30 pounds for his lead role in “Father Stu,” a biopic about boxer-turned-priest Stuart Long.
“After we do the boxing scenes, I get to put on as much weight as possible over the course of the film, so I’m challenging myself to put on 30 pounds in the next six weeks,” Mark explained.
“They want me to do it as healthy as possible,” he added. “I’m like “Dude, I’ve been on such a regimen for so long, I just want to eat everything in sight,” said the star, who often details his 4 a.m. workouts and bone broth fasts on social media.
“I want to go bakeries,” he continued. “I want to go to Denny’s. I want to get pancakes. I want to get everything I can possibly get my hands on!”
In “real life,” the character’s heavy years presumably came after the serious motorcycle accident that led him to have a spiritual, out-of-body experience in the hospital, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
From there, Stuart is said to have “rediscovered his faith” and studied to become a priest. But his once sculpted body would never quite recover, due to a rare, degenerative muscle disease.
Mark, on the other hand, will have to snap back to his usual, ripped form pretty quickly. The Daily Man reports his next project after “Father Stu” is the long-awaited “Six Billion Dollar Man,” a reboot of the ’70s series, “The Six Million Dollar Man,” that features Mark as a bionic man with superhuman strength.
Last week, a new poll showed nearly half of American voters would like to see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson run for president. And while the “Fast and Furious” star knows he’s not the most traditional candidate, he says he’d be honored “to serve the people.”
On April 9, The Rock tweeted out a link to Newsweek’s coverage of the new poll, which found a whopping 46 percent of Americans over 18 would support the wrestler-turned actor if he made good on previous comments suggesting he’d like to run.
“Not sure our Founding Fathers ever envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack wearing guy joining their club,” he joked in the caption, “but if it ever happens it’d be my honor to serve the people.”
Dwayne’s tweet comes after USA Today asked if he was still considering the White House bid he’s flirted with in recent years.
“I would consider a presidential run in the future if that’s what the people wanted,” he told the outlet in February. “Truly, I mean that, and I’m not flippant in any way with my answer,” he added. “That would be up to the people … So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground.”
Dwayne, 48, has speculated about running for president since at least 2016 — and the idea has generally been well received. An op-ed in a June 2016 edition of The Washington Post even argued the actor could be a viable candidate. Dwayne shared a link to the piece on Instagram at the time, saying he thinks, “the most important thing right now is strong honest leadership from our current and future leaders of this country.”
Asked if he was still considering the presidency, Dwayne told GQ in 2017, “I think that it’s a real possibility.”
As GQ pointed out, Dwayne’s classic American “rags-to-riches story” — born into an impoverished family, he’s now the highest-paid actor in the world — could have major appeal to voters.
As for his political leanings, The Rock supported Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ahead of their 2020 win but declined to back either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump in the previous presidential race, telling GQ he was wary of how his comments might “sway an opinion,” something he said he “didn’t want to do.”
Later in the same interview, he shared some insight on what his own approach to running the country might be.
“Personally, I feel that if I were president, poise would be important. Leadership would be important,” he said in response to a question about Donald Trump. “Taking responsibility for everybody. [If I didn’t agree with someone] on something, I wouldn’t shut them out. I would actually include them. The first thing we’d do is we’d come and sit down and we’d talk about it … The responsibility as president — I [would] take responsibility for everyone. Especially when you disagree with me. If there’s a large number of people disagreeing, there might be something I’m not seeing, so let me see it. Let me understand it.”
Of course, running for any office eats up a lot of time. And with two new films due out this year and a slate of at least five more in the works, according to imdb, Dwayne’s next race will likely involve the box office, not the presidency.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker‘s relationship has permanent written all over it.
Although the couple has only been dating for three months, according to reports, the Blink-182 got her named tattooed on his chest. On April 9, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star posted a close up of the new ink. Travis, meanwhile, commented on the post with a heart emoji and added the pic to his Instagram Story.
After Kourtney’s post, many of her famous friends commented. “Goals,” Addison Rae said. Other friends posted various emojis.
Just one day earlier, she posted a photo of her back and backside. “Watchin’ movies, but we ain’t seen a thing tonight,” she captioned the image.
Fans speculated that Travis’ recent tattoo of the words “You’re so cool” from the film “True Romance” was also a tribute to his lady love.
Kourtney and Travis haven’t been shy about their romance, as they’ve often posted images of each other to their social media. Plus, paparazzi have snapped photos of them together for months.
The couple was friends for years before things turned romantic. Since then, they’ve vacationed together with their kids in Utah on a ski trip, hung out in Las Vegas at a UFC event, and he also joined her and her famous family for Easter last week.
January Jones is feeling rattled after her dog got bitten by a snake near her home in Los Angeles.
On April 8, the actress posted a photo of the venomous reptile to her Instagram Story.
“This baby rattler bit my lil Vinny this morning,” she wrote alongside the photo. “I caught and released it but praying for my pup who’s in the hospital now ❤️.”
She later shared a photo of the pup along with several heart emojis.
After leaving her 1.1 million Instagram followers hanging on the edge of their seats, January gave an update about her black Bernedoodle on April 9.
“Vinny’s back home,” she wrote. “Tired out but doing well.”
It’s actually not uncommon for dogs to have entanglements with snakes. TooFab, citing the Animal Medical Center of Southern California, said dogs are about “20 times more likely” to be bitten by a poisonous snake than people. They are also “25 times more likely” to die if they are bitten.
Christopher Meloni was trending on social media recently, but it had nothing to do with his career. It was because of his, well, behind.
The “Law & Order: Organized Crime” star wasn’t the butt of the jokes, but Twitter definitely had a heyday. Likewise, the actor played along.
Christopher’s derriere became a topic of online conversation after a photo of him rocking some very tight pants landed on Twitter.
“SVU is filming in park slope this week and someone in the neighborhood facebook group posted this photo of chris meloni,” someone tweeted, later joking the show should be renamed “Special Thicctims Unit.”
A fan later asked Chris directly if he wanted to “explain” why he had “so much cake,” referring to his posterior.
“Sure – big birthday(60), big boy(200 lbs), big cake,” he hilariously replied.
A fan later asked Chris why he was trending on Twitter. “The other Melonis are trending, not me,” he joked back.
Still, fans continued to thirst over the photo.
“How does one man have at least six men worth of butt in his pants,” one person said. Another added, “What in the melon section of the supermarket is happening here.” A Vice reporter humorously tweeted, “Can someone give him my email address it’s… for… work.”
Funnily enough, this isn’t the first time fans have been enthralled with Chris’ backside. While chatting with Conan O’Brien in 2014, the Emmy winner joked that he has the “best [butt] in primetime.”
Twitter is clearly trying to get to the bottom of this story.
