Federal laws protecting LGBTQ people against housing discrimination are a must | Opinion – South Florida Sun Sentinel

In February, the House passed the Equality Act, which prohibited discrimination based upon sexual orientation and gender identity in areas like housing, jobs, and jury duty. A landmark bill, it passed through the House largely along party lines with only three Republicans voting yes.
