Father Who Reported Anti-Gay Bias Toward Son Loses Firing Suit – Bloomberg Law

A former employee failed to prove engineering and contracting firm Bernhard MCC LLC fired him because he reported that his son was being subjected to anti-gay slurs while they worked together at a Tennessee construction site, a federal jury ruled.

Michael Young alleged that Justin Wisor, a senior project manager with Bernhard, called him into his office the same day Young reported the harassment to human resources. Bernhard was a subcontractor on the project in Clarksville, Tenn. Young worked for Bernhard as a quality control manager and his son Robert was a sheet metal helper.
