EastEnders star Luisa Bradshaw-White reveals she ‘came out as gay by accident’ – The Mirror
EastEnders star Luisa Bradshaw-White opened up about how she accidentally “came out as gay”.
The actress – who has been married to wife Annette Yeo since 2015 – never thought about the fact she could be gay when she was younger.
It took a conversation with friends before she accidentally blurted it out.
“The realisation came when I was around 19 and talking with some new friends,” she revealed in Metro.co.uk.
“They both said they liked women and without thinking, I replied, ‘Ooh yes, me too!’. I sort of gasped as it was the first time I had even considered that I might not be straight.”
The Holby City actress went on to reminisce about all the fun times she had with her pals after coming out.
“It’s crazy that a fleeting conversation with new friends could have had such an impact on my life and I got the best introduction to being a gay person you could ask for,” she added.
“I had huge amounts of fun. While I was out to have a good time, I knew almost instantly after coming out that all I wanted was to find my true love, settle down and have a family.”
