Confirmed: Daniel Craig is gay… in ‘Daggers in the back’ – Sportsfinding
Rian Johnsondirector of daggers in the back (Knives Out), has confirmed it. Benoit Blac, the detective played by the British actor Daniel Craig, he is gay. The suspicions were there for many of us who have enjoyed the fun choral comedy that will soon premiere its sequel, Glass Onion.
The revelation has arisen after the visualization in a press pass of a scene from the sequel to daggers in the backin which the ecliptic detective can be seen Benoit White living with another man.

During the presentation of the second film of the saga, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mysteryits director referred to the actor who plays Blac’s lover by saying: “There is no one in the world that I can imagine that gives me more joy to be with Benoit Blac”, to which the blue-eyed former James Bond replied: “No spoilers, but… who wouldn’t want to live with that person?”, alluding to his character, which he is clearly proud of.
In the sequel, whose story takes place mainly in Greece, not only repeats Daniel Craig, as published by the media specialized in audiovisual culture tonic. In this second installment of daggers in the back which will be released next December, some faces from the first film released in 2019 repeat as protagonists: Edwards Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr. and Janella Monáe.
As will be remembered, daggers in the back told the story of the investigation carried out by Benoit Blanc into the death of the famous writer of mystery novels Harlan Thrombeyinterpreted by Christopher Plummer. The film had the participation of stars such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, Toni Collette, Lakeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford and, in a role that is even more stellar than the rest, our international and renowned Anne of Arms.

These last ones do not appear in the second film of the three that are going to be able to enjoy. In March 2021, the Netflix platform acquired the rights to two more films from daggers in the back for $450 million, scripted and directed by Rian Johnson and, of course, Craig as the clever crime investigator.
