When 15-year-old Max Primmer came out as gay to his parents in 1964, he received a different reaction to what you might expect.
Now 73, and living in Glenlyon in central Victoria, Max says he’s had a great life. He’s also seen much more acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community in Australia, but the more things change, the more they stay the same, with bigotry still rife around the world.
