CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cleveland man is the city’s first reported monkeypox-related death, Cleveland health officials said Thursday. The man also had other health conditions and was hospitalized at the time of his death, health officials said.
The state of Ohio has seen 370 cases of monkeypox and two deaths to date. Cuyahoga County has seen 154 monkeypox cases, and the city of Cleveland has recorded 91 cases.
