Decades ago, the Left hijacked God’s rainbow, a symbol of His authentic love for mankind. To many, the colorful stripes now represent acceptance of deviant sexual acts.

Sadly, the Catholic Church, instead of reclaiming the rainbow, appears to be joining the world in its embrace of perversion. In tonight’s In-Depth Report, Church Militant’s Kim Tisor examines some Churchmen’s attempts to normalize the LGBT lifestyle during Pride Month.

The secular world spent June celebrating the homosexual community with festivals and other displays of affirmation. But many Catholic leaders in America did the same.

Outreach, a self-proclaimed Catholic LGBT resource, marked Pride Month with an inaugural conference.

Bp. John Stowe, diocese of Lexington, Kentucky: “Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not Catholic, that you’re not part of the Church, that you cannot be holy or that you are defined by sin. Each of us has been blessed with unmerited grace.”

A church in Bp. Stowe’s diocese kowtowed to gays and lesbians with its Service of Atonement and Apology on the final night of Pride Month. And kicking off the 30 days, pro-gay priest Fr. James Martin encouraged Catholics to partake in Pride activities.

Fr. James Martin, S.J.: “The Catechism of the Catholic Church asks us to treat LGBTQ people with respect, compassion and sensitivity, and participating in pride events, or at least supporting our LGBTQ friends, is one way to do that.”

According to New Ways Ministry, never before have Catholics been more accepting of same-sex sin. A spokesman with the pro-gay group revealed last month, “Catholic LGBTQ ministry has been expanding astronomically,” adding, “Pope Francis’ welcoming statements and gestures are the main reason for this greater openness … .”

In June, Francis hosted a private audience at the Vatican with six so-called transgender biological males. The move was reminiscent of Easter 2021, when the pontiff invited a group of transgenders to the Vatican for COVID jabs. Pope Francis’ LGBT-affirming gestures are permeating the Church.

Last month, the pope selected pro-sodomy leftist bishop John Dolan to head the 1.2 million Catholics in the diocese of Phoenix, replacing conservative bishop Thomas Olmsted, who had retired.

Catholic shepherds are leading their flocks astray, ignoring the Catechism, which calls homosexual acts “intrinsically disordered.”

Gay pride is not something to be celebrated in June or any other month of the year. Instead, it should be battled against as LGBT ideology continues to wage war against people’s very souls.

In his video, Fr. James Martin stressed it’s especially important for churches to celebrate pride since religion is, according to him, behind much of the violence that the LGBT community faces. Martin also recently revealed the group Outreach is tentatively planning another LGBT conference for 2024.
