Brenda Gay Lee Andrada – Cleveland Daily Banner

Brenda Gay Lee Andrada, of Cleveland, passed away and went to be with God on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at Erlanger Medical Center.

Brenda was an incredible mother, aunt, nana, friend and wife. She loved her family more than anything on earth. All she ever wanted for her children, brothers, sisters and her whole family was for them all to be safe and happy so they could have a good life.

Brenda also loved to crochet. Everywhere she went, her crochet bag was with her. Brenda was a perfectionist — everything she did had to be done right. She was a very hard worker and worked hard at whatever she did. Everything she did, she did well.

Brenda loved people and she loved to talk. She could and would talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime. She was such a giving person, always wanting to help others. She was an excellent caregiver when someone was sick and was always there to help.

Brenda was also a  very gifted and excellent sewer and seamstress. She could make just about anything in craft work and clothing. She loved to cook, and, yes, she was very good at that. Brenda collected cookbooks, craft books, dolls and teapots that she loved very much.

She loved to learn and attended Cleveland State Community College where she earned two degrees. Her final year, she was awarded Distinguished Graduate of the Year and graduated with top honors. During her college years, she helped many other students any way she could.

Brenda’s greatest joy in life came when her granddaughter, Ashley gave birth to her great-grandson, Phoenix. She got to help deliver him. He was the joy of her life, and he loves his BB.

The world lost a truly great and wonderful person when Brenda died. She is and always will be greatly and truly missed by her family, friends and loved ones.

“I love and Miss you Brenda, My Soul Mate, My Tiny Dancer, I will see you again in Heaven” — your husband, Joe.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Nanney Lee; her father, Chandler Lee; and her son, Lawayne F. Taylor “Scooter.”

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Joe Andrada; daughter, Katina Aday (Tim); younger siblings: Henry Lee, Shirley Fourginer, Wanda Pope,  and Leon Lee (Candice); grandchildren: Taylor Watson, Ashley Watson (Matt), LaMesha Taylor, Hailey Taylor; great-grandchildren: Phoenix Witvoet, Sawyer Taylor, and Ruby Taylor.
