Allison Gay Chantland Obituary (1962 – 2021) – Ogden, UT – Legacy.com

Allison Gay Chantland 59, loving mother and wife passed Sunday morning at home with her family after a long battle with illness. Allison would do everything she could to show her family how much she loved them, even on her hardest days she always thought of others. Allison held on for a long time to have every minute with her family and friends. Everybody that knew her probably has an empty spot in them now. She would want you to spend time with the ones you love and fill it with good memories. Allison always loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, her dogs and cats. She would spend her day watching the birds eat and her flowers grow. She was also quite the paranormal enthusiast, she loved ghosts, aliens, UFOs, and Big Foot, if it was paranormal, she was into it. She would binge watch more UFO and Paranormal shows than anyone out there.
Allison was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is preceded in her passing by her father and mother Ralph and Rita Meiniki, along with her niece whom she loved very deeply.
Allison’s family will all miss her, brothers Gregg, Jeff and David and sisters Vicky and Laura. Her immediate family: a loving daughter, son and husband pass her on with broken hearts and utter care. Allison wished for no viewing or funeral services as she did not enjoy them. Instead, she wanted cremation and to be put in places we would visit in the mountains. Allison would rather have people donate food to an animal shelter rather than flowers as she would save all the dogs and cats if she could. The family will have a celebration of life get together sometime in the future. To all of her friends and family please spend time with the ones you love and hold them close.
