Allen Academy’s Julia Gay advances to TAPPS state meet – Bryan-College Station Eagle
Allen Academy’s Julia Gay is headed to the TAPPS state swim meet after punching her ticket in two events this weekend.
The sophomore won her division and the overall 200m with a time of 2:12.26. She followed that up with a standout performance in the 100m freestyle as she finished fourth overall and first in her division with a time of 55.28.
The TAPPS state meet is in San Antonio at the Josh Davis Natatorium. Gay will compete in the 200m and 100 free on Feb. 6.
