Kicker Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 10 – AthlonSports.com
There is really just one big exception in my fantasy kicker rankings for Week 10. And can hear the snickers now over my biggest differentiation from the ECR (Expert Consensus Rankings).
It’s not that I don’t like Matt Gay this week. He is, after all, coming off of one of his best games this season, connecting on all three field goal attempts plus a PAT. But that also is Gay’s ceiling.
This game was just his second this season where he even got three FG attempts. The first of those such games was way back in Week 1. We might say the Rams offense (and defense?) is too good.

The 49ers are right around league average for fantasy points allowed to opposing kicker. Expecting Gay to have a game close to his ceiling is overly optimistic.
Expect eight or nine points from Gay, which will put him in the bottom half of all kickers started in your league. Meh.
